The AI Guy · Official Rules
Last updated September 3, 2026
1. Sponsor
This promotion is sponsored by Virtue, a Colorado limited liability company based in Boulder, Colorado ("Virtue"). Questions go to contact@virtue.company.
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta Platforms, Inc., Instagram, or Facebook.
2. Free entry
Entry is free. There is no purchase, payment, or wager of any kind, and no purchase of Virtue services is required to enter or to win. A purchase does not improve the chance of winning.
3. Entry period
Entries are accepted from the moment this page is live through September 30, 2026 at 11:59 PM Pacific Time. Entries received after the deadline are ineligible.
4. Eligibility
Entry is open to businesses operating in the San Francisco Bay Area. The person entering must be 18 years of age or older and authorized to represent the business. Employees of Virtue and their immediate families are ineligible.
5. How to enter
Submit your name, work email, and phone at virtue.company/ai-guy. Virtue then sends a short set of questions about why your company needs AI help: what is broken, who handles it today, what it costs, and why now. Completing those questions completes the entry. One entry per business.
6. Judging
This is a contest of merit judged by Virtue. Entries are scored on three criteria, weighted equally: the measurable cost of the problem described (money and hours), the burden it places on the team, and the urgency of the need. The entry with the highest combined score wins. Judging happens within 14 days after the entry period closes, and the winner is notified by email or phone.
7. Prize
One winner receives $1,000, paid to the winning business, plus one day of on site AI help from the Virtue team applied to the problem described in the winning entry. The approximate retail value of the prize is $2,500. The prize cannot be transferred, exchanged, or substituted, and the service portion has no cash equivalent. The scheduling and scope of the service day are set by Virtue in consultation with the winner.
8. Taxes
The winner is solely responsible for any taxes on the prize. Virtue requires a completed W-9 before payment and will issue tax documentation, such as a Form 1099, reflecting the value of the prize.
9. Use of entries
Information submitted with an entry is used to evaluate the entry and to contact the entrant, consistent with the Virtue privacy policy. By accepting the prize, the winner agrees that Virtue may describe the winning process and the resulting build in its marketing, with the winner named only with the winner's written consent.
10. General
Virtue may disqualify entries that are incomplete, fraudulent, or submitted without authority to represent the business. If the selected winner is ineligible or unresponsive for 7 days after notification, Virtue may select the next highest scoring entry. This promotion is void where prohibited and is governed by the laws of the State of California.
